Mirrorless or DSLR for outdoor photography?
I've been using my old Canon 5D Mark II for landscape photography for many many years, and it's been awesome. The only complaint is that it's big and bulky, and on longer hikes and backpacking trips, saving weight would be nice.
I'd like to upgrade my camera and am considering switching to mirrorless. I have a few Canon lenses for my 5D Mark II but not so many that I'm locked into the Canon ecosystem. So, my question is, do I stick with DSLR or opt for mirrorless? A few years ago, I wouldn't have even considered it, but now that mirrorless cameras offer such great features (including much better battery life), I'm thinking now might be the time. I wanted to get some feedback from other outdoor enthusiasts first though. Please let me know what you shoot with and how you like it!
As an aside, where do you guys buy your gear? I bought my 5D Mark II from B&H many years ago, but wondered if any other sites offer better deals. I've heard Adorama is the go to place now (at least according to ( https://www.photographytalk.com/adorama-review ). Is this the case?
Happy shooting guys 🙂
Cool camera, I have the same. Takes great pictures, the most important thing is if you want to improve them for this https://imageupscaler.com/ this online assistant. Then your images will not be equal.
