Two devastating earthquakes (7.5 and 7.8 magnitude) have struck in 10 cities Turkey (Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Diyarbakır, Adana, Osmaniye, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Malatya and Hatay. Effected area is 110000+ km2 and effected population is 13+ million).

This is probably the first rime two >7 magnitude earthquakes happened on the same day in the same area.

More than 1250 weaker earthquakes (more than 80 are >magnitude 4) also developed in the same area since yesterday…

Earthquakes killed at least 9057 people and injured at least 52979 people as right now.

More than 6444 buildings were severely destroyed according to the same report.

Search and rescue efforts are ongoing for those who are trapped under rubble.

The weather is exceedingly cold in the region and thousands of people are left homeless.Turkey has issued a Level 4 alarm, calling for international assistance.
